Legoland Evacuated After Bomb Scare

WINTER HAVEN (CBSMiami/AP) — Law enforcement agencies are searching Legoland Florida and its resort hotel after guests were evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Winter Haven police said in a news release that the threat was reported at 11:54 a.m. Thursday and all guests were safely evacuated by 12:43 p.m.

Police say there have been no injuries. The Polk County Sheriff's Office and officials from the state fire marshal's office are helping police search the park.

Legoland tweeted Thursday that the park would be closed for the rest of the day.

The theme park is located in Winter Haven, southwest of Orlando.
