Lauderdale Police Need Help Finding Missing Girl

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Ft. Lauderdale Police have asked the public for help in locating a missing girl.

Rashaunda Andrezil, 10, was last seen walking away from her home at 111 NE 11th Street around 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Police say Rashaunda has runaway in the past. She suffers from bi-polar disorder and did not take her medication with her when she left.

"Law enforcement officials conducted canvas of the area looking for her," said police spokeswoman Det. Deana Greenlaw. "They are also utilizing social media to try to locate her and bring her home to her family."

The girl's mother said she loves her daughter and just wants her to come home.
