Hill: Jennings' Future Success Will 'Create a New Path' to Manager

The Miami Marlins are 4-9 with GM-turned-manager Dan Jennings running the show.

Does the team's President of Baseball Operations still sense some unhappiness in the clubhouse and question Jennings having no previous managing experience at the minor league or MLB level?

"Absolutely not and that's something when you do something different, when you do something out of the box, obviously you're gonna face criticism," Michael Hill said on the Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz. "This is something that when you think about what we did, when Dan Jennings is successful and we win a lot of baseball games, it's just gonna create a new path to becoming a major league manager."
