Election Day In Eight Broward Cities

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Voters in eight Broward cities will be heading to the polls on Tuesday to decide a number of mayoral, commission and council races.

In Miramar, voters will cast their ballots for two commission seats and mayor. Incumbent Mayor Lori Moseley is facing two challengers, Commissioner Wayne Messam and former Commisioner Alexandra Davis.

Plantation voters will also vote on the mayor's position along with a council seat.

Coconut Creek voters will pick who will fill the remaining two years of former Commissioner Lisa Arrington's term. She resigned last year to run for a county commission seat. She lost.

In Lighthouse Point, voters will be deciding on two commission seats.

Voters in Davie's District 1, Deerfield Beach's Districts 1 and 2 and Fort Lauderdale's District 2 will be casting ballots to till those seats.

In Hillsboro Beach, six candidates are running for three seats.

The polls are open until 7 p.m.
