WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) - A  Boynton Beach woman accused of hiring a hit man to kill her new husband will not testify in her own retrial.

Dalia Dippolito told Judge Glenn Kelley on Monday that she won't take the stand this time to defend herself against a charge of attempted murder for hire. A police recording of her meeting with an officer posing as a hit man was featured on the television show "Cops."

That defense didn't work at her first trial, where she was convicted and sentenced to 20 years. But her verdict was thrown out on appeal.

During this trial, her attorneys have argued that the Boynton Beach police department entrapped her to become famous on "Cops." Closing arguments are expected later Monday.
