Cuban Migrants Land On Turkey Point

HOMESTEAD (CBSMiami) -- A group of 13 Cuban migrants successfully made it onto American soil Sunday morning.

Their boat landed at Turkey Point, near the power plant. Plant security found them outside the property fence.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents were able to safely escort the group to their Dania Beach office for treatment and evaluation.
