Bomb Threats Made At Three Broward Elementary Schools

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Authorities investigated bomb threats made at three different schools in Broward County Friday morning.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said they received a call that made threats to Westwood Heights Elementary at 2861 SW 9th Street in Ft. Lauderdale; Larkdale Elementary at 3250 NW 12th Place in Lauderhill; and Oriole Elementary at 3081 NW 39th Street in Lauderdale Lakes.

Bomb squad units showed up to the schools to assess the situation.

A fourth school, Margate Elementary, happened to be conducting a bomb threat drill this morning, as well.

A short time later, the schools were given the "all clear" and students were allowed to return to class.
