WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — A Delta Airlines employee was caught with $282,000 in a back pack he was instructed to deliver to someone in a bathroom at Palm Beach International Airport.

Jean Yves Selius of Boynton Beach was taken into custody Saturday. He faces a charge of illegal money transmitting.

Federal officials say Selius was stopped after he bypassed security checkpoints and used his employee badge to enter a secure part of the airport.

Selius told authorities he was being paid to give the backpack to an unidentified traveler in the bathroom. He says this was his fifth time being paid to smuggle money into the airport.
