836 Westbound Opened Earlier Than Expected, Eastbound Closing Again

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Drivers were relieved to find the Dolphin Expressway westbound lanes were opened earlier than expected after toll structure construction.
The westbound lanes were closed from I-95 to NW 27th Avenue from Friday night until early Sunday morning.
The lanes were originally to remain closed through Monday morning.
While the westbound lanes have opened, the eastbound lanes will see more closures Sunday night.
The road will be closed between NW 27th Avenue/Unity Boulevard and NW 12th Avenue for the installation toll structures from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers should follow posted detour signs.
Drivers on eastbound SR 836:
- Exit at southbound NW 27th Avenue
- Turn left onto NW 7th Street
- Turn left onto NW 12th Avenue and take the entrance ramp to eastbound SR 836 on the right
Drivers on northbound NW 27th Avenue:
- Turn right onto NW 7th Street
- Turn left onto NW 12th Avenue and take the entrance ramp to eastbound SR 836 on the right
