6 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash That Closed Long Beach Interchange

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Six people were transported to the hospital for minor injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash in Long Beach that closed a major interchange Monday night.

The westbound 91 Freeway to the northbound 710 Freeway was shut down to traffic shortly before 9:20 p.m. after three vehicles collided, one of them overturning.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the victims at the scene and handled transports, a spokesperson said.

An investigation is ongoing.
