Public's Help Sought In Identifying Simi Valley Armed Robbery Suspect

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday sought the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

On the night of Aug. 29, a male suspect robbed a women who was sitting in her car in the Jack-in-the-Box parking lot, located at 130 E. Cochran Street, in Simi Valley, authorities said.

"The victim's purse and identification were taken," Det. David Del Marto said.

The suspect was described as a white of Hispanic man in his later 20s to early 30s. He was 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 150 pounds and hard dark hair with a short mustache.

"He fled the scene in an older model minivan, maroon in color," Del Marto said.
