Northridge shooting leaves woman, 22, dead

Authorities say one woman is dead after a shooting in Northridge overnight.

The shooting was reported at about 1:25 a.m. Saturday in the area of Tampa Avenue and Bryant Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said "several victims" were inside a parked vehicle when two men approached and opened fire, according to witnesses.

At least one woman was struck by gunfire. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

She was later identified as 22-year-old Maria De La Rosa. 

The suspects remain at large, police said. No motive has been identified and no arrests were made as of Monday morning.
