Motorcyclist Crashes Over Center Divider On 405 Fwy In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A motorcyclist Tuesday crashed over the center divider on the 405 Freeway in Long Beach.

Sky2's Kevin Takumi reports that the rider came from the northbound side of the 405, crashed over the center divider wall and into southbound lanes.

The accident, which was reported at 5:32 p.m., caused the motorcycle to hit a vehicle in the southbound HOV lane.

The left two lanes of the southbound side of the 405 were shut down as officials investigated the incident.

The extent of injuries is unknown.
