LAX officers alert after substance exposure leading to hazmat situation

A group of terminal officers at LAX is alert after exposure to a "strange" substance on Tuesday morning, according to the airport's police department.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said it responded to reports of a possible hazmat situation involving three officers at about 8:05 a.m.

According to LAX PD, the officers were all alert and in fair condition as of 8:30 a.m. 

The substance the officers were exposed to was not clear as of 8:55 a.m. No additional details were immediately made available.
