Judge Orders Trial For Hesperia Man Accused Of Murdering His Lover's Husband

BAKERSFIELD (AP) — A judge has ordered trial for a Southern California man charged with murdering his lover's husband.

The Daily Press of Victorville says a judge ruled Friday that there's enough evidence to try Jonathan Hearn of Hesperia.

The 25-year-old Hearn -- a Redlands firefighter/paramedic -- has pleaded not guilty to shooting Robert Limon of Helendale last August. Prosecutors say he was having an affair with Limon's wife, Sabrina.

Court filings indicated the two exchanged thousands of text messages, including one from Hearn suggesting they could be together if her husband was out of the picture.

Sabrina Limon initially was arrested in connection with the killing but was released for lack of evidence and hasn't been charged.
