Hundreds Shave Their Heads In North Hollywood For Good Cause

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Hundreds of people had their heads shaved Saturday -- all for a good cause.

The mass head-shaving was in support of children with cancer.

It was the 11th annual Saint Baldrick's Foundation fundraising event.

Firefighters, police officers and their families all take part.

More than 200 people had all their locks cut off.

The Saint Baldrick's Foundation funds a number of childhood cancer research grants and projects.

Volunteers were treated to breakfast by IHOP and a show of magic from the Magic Castle.
