Crews Extinguish Fire At Hotel In Inglewood

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Crews Friday extinguished a fire that erupted behind a hotel in Inglewood.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, firefighters were sent around 12:45 a.m. to the 4200 block of West Century Boulevard for a report of a blaze burning in the back of a hotel.

Upon their arrival, crews located two vehicles and rubbish engulfed in flames.

The fire subsequently spread to a first-floor unit of the hotel.

Crews were able to extinguish the flames in just over 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
