GM Announces Recall Of More Than 90,000 Trucks, SUVs

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  General Motors on Thursday asked for the recall of 92,000 trucks and SUVs for a possible defect in the ignition.

The recall covers vehicles sold in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Some of the models being recalled were sold between 2011-2012 and others that were repaired between 2007-2014 with defective parts.

CBS News reported that the Chevrolet Silverado light-duty and heavy-duty pickups; Avalanche, Tahoe and Suburban; GMC Sierra light duty and heavy-duty pickups; and Yukon and Yukon XL; Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV and Escalade EXT were all affected by the recall.
