Firefighters rescue construction workers after structure collapses in Glendale

Glendale construction crew rescue is underway after structure collapse

Firefighters rescued at least six workers from a construction site in Glendale after a structure partially collapsed. 

The Pasadena Fire Department responded to the 1200 block of South Glendale Avenue around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

SkyCAL flew over the scene as rescues were underway and saw two workers stuck in seperate cherry pickers.

A total of six workers were rescued and five of them were taken to the hospital for examination, but no one was seriously injured.

The circumstances of the collapse are still under investigation.
