Deputies Seek Help Identifying Woman Suspected In Wallet Theft

CRESCENTA VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Wednesday with identifying a woman accused of grand theft.

According to the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station, around 2 p.m. Friday, an female suspect stole a wallet from a victim while shopping at a grocery store in La Canada Flintridge.

Deputies explained the suspect used the victim's stolen credit card around 2:27 p.m. to make a $2,000 cash advance at a bank in Montrose.

The woman then made two additional unauthorized transactions with the card at local retail establishments, authorities explained.
