Authorities investigate bomb threat at Fullerton hospital

A bomb threat investigation forced authorities to close roads near Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton on Sunday.

According to the Fullerton Police Department, a call came in around 10:58 a.m. reporting multiple bombs at "St. Jude Hospital Child Research Center," which does not exist. Officers were already at St. Jude Medical Center for another call, so they began to check the area while more resources arrived.

A thorough search showed no evidence of bombs on the premises.

"Several roads" were closed for the investigation, but were reopened after the investigation cleared.
