2-Vehicle Crash Kills Motorist On 710 Freeway In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred about 12:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes near the Temple Avenue exit, and involved a red vehicle and a Toyota Prius, the CHP said.

One motorist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to CHP Officer Monica Posada.

No further information was immediately available.
