2 Injured After Bus Crashed Into Long Beach Police Patrol Car On SB 710 Fwy
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Two people, including a Long Beach police officer, were injured early Monday morning after a bus collided with a patrol car.
The accident took place around 12:50 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway just south of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Both drivers were transported to local hospitals with unspecified injuries.
All southbound lanes were blocked for several hours but reopened around 3:15 a.m., the CHP said.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
