Patterson Man, 43, Accused Of Biting Off Own Mother's Ear

PATTERSON (CBS13) – Authorities say a Patterson man is under arrest after he allegedly bit off his mother's ear.

The incident happened Wednesday morning at a home along the 1400 block of Granite Creek Drive. According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called out due to a family fight at the home. At the scene, the deputies learned that 43-year-old Marquette Hudson had bitten off his own mother's ear in the fight.

Deputies believe Hudson was in the process of moving out of his mom's house when, for some reason, an argument broke out. During the argument was when Hudson allegedly bit off her ear.

Hudson's mom was taken to the emergency room. Her condition has not been released.

Hudson, who was staying at his mother's house with his family, is currently being held at Stanislaus County Jail on $100,000 bail.
