Worker Run Over By Luggage-Hauling Vehicle At Flint Airport

FLINT TWP. (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say a worker was injured after being run over by a vehicle that's used to haul luggage at Flint's airport.

Bishop International Airport spokeswoman Pat Corfman says the man injured Thursday morning worked for an aviation staffing company.

The man was pinned after being run over by the tug that he had been driving, according to The Flint Journal. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, but details of his condition weren't immediately released. Authorities are investigating how he got hurt.

Officers from Flint Township were called to assist airport police and fire crews.
