Suspect Without Upper Teeth Wanted In West Side Shooting

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for a suspect who is considered armed and dangerous, but doesn't have any upper teeth.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Hubbell and Fenkell avenues.

According to police, the 22-year-old victim was involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect when the suspect produced a weapon and fired a shot, striking the victim.

The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 26- to 27-years-old with a medium build, hair on his chin and missing his upper teeth. At the time, he wearing blue jeans and red LeBron gym shoes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
