Ronny Paulino Of Toledo Mud Hens Suspended 100 Games

CBS DETROIT - The Detroit Tigers lost Jhonny Peralta to a suspension for violating Major League Baseball's policy against the use of steroids, and the team's Triple-A affiliate, the Toledo Mud Hens, got similarly bad news Wednesday.

Paulino, who began his career in 1999, played for Toledo and two other teams in 2013. He participated in 13 games for the Mud Hens last season. For Toledo, Paulino recorded a .267 batting average and .298 on-base percentage.
Paulino's career has included many bounces between the big leagues and the minors, but he had seen a decent amount of time at the major-league level.
With Pittsburgh, Paulino played 129 games in 2006 and 133 games in 2007. He also played in 80 games for Florida in 2009 and in 91 games in 2010, and Paulino also played in 78 games for the New York Mets in 2011. His most recent major-league stint came with Baltimore in 2012.
