Robert Redford's Son Visits Detroit To Promote Movie

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Director James Redford, son of acting and directing legend Robert Redford,  is coming to Detroit on Sunday, February 9th.

He's here to screen the movie "The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia."

James Redford directed the movie, he said he wishes his family could have seen when his son Dylan was found to be functionally illiterate in 4th grade.

"The Big Picture" shows that while dyslexia is an obstacle, it can be overcome.

The public is invited to join Redford for the movie, a question and answer session and a dessert reception.

The program co-hosts are Eton Academy and the Jewish Federation of Detroit.

The cost to join is is $10 per person; and advanced registration is recommended at jewishdetroit.org/events.
