Michigan A 35-Point Favorite In Season Opener Versus Appalachian State

CBS DETROIT - Michigan begins its 2014 slate with a noon home game against Appalachian State, and the Las Vegas Superbook inside of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino lists the Wolverines as a 35-point favorite, according to MLive.

Of course, cupcake opponents are not always as harmless as they seem, as Michigan fans know. With this particular cupcake, the Wolverines have a history.

Back in 2007, Appalachian State visited the Big House and pulled off one of the most notable upsets ever. Needless to say, Michigan will not likely be overlooking the Mountaineers leading up to this year's meeting.
