Little Caesars Wraps Twitter Feeds In Bacon

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - Little Caesars has wrapped its pizza in bacon, and now the Detroit-based company is taking over Twitter timelines with the crispy meat.

In February the company unveiled a new Bacon Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza with crusts wrapped in 3.5 feet of bacon and topped with bacon and pepperoni. The pizza capitalized on the America's growing infatuation with bacon.

To capitalize on the popularity of the chewy, crunchy pizza, Twitter users can visit www.littlecaesarsbacontimeline to allow Little Caesars to access Twitter users timeline and post 3.5 feet of virtual bacon.

With their consent, a series of bacon-infused Tweets are sent into the Twitter-sphere.

The pizza takes Little Caesars' 8-corner, Detroit-style deep dish pizza and wraps the crust with two types of bacon and tops it with pepperoni. It will be sold at participating locations for $12 plus tax where applicable.
