Festival To Feature Vintage Vehicles At Greenfield Village

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - More than 750 vehicles dating from the 1890s through 1932 are coming to the Detroit-area as part of the 66th annual Old Car Festival.

The event will be held Saturday and Sunday at Greenfield Village in Dearborn.

It will honor the National Park Service centennial by displaying vehicles related to American fondness for the great outdoors. The festival also will highlight the role the automobile played in the evolution of the parks.

The Henry Ford will bring out six vehicles including a 1916 Packard Twin Six Camp Truck, a 1922 Lincoln utility vehicle and a vintage White Motor Co. touring bus once used at Yellowstone National Park.

Greenfield Village is part of The Henry Ford, a history attraction that includes Henry Ford Museum.
