If there is one thing that is true about people from Detroit it's that most of us don't care for Cleveland, Ohio. That makes us people of good taste.

Maybe Cleveland is a better place than we think (probably not, but I'm trying to be nice). Even under the best of circumstances, though, it's not a place I would like to go to on vacation.

One thing I do love is the "The Price is Right."

Usually when you think of great prizes from the game show you think about cars, exotic vacations, fancy treadmills, hot tubs and just about every other awesome prize you could ever want.

In this case, they are giving away trips to Cleveland, Ohio. Yes, you did read that right.

Well, this city has finally made it. Cleveland is now a vacation destination on The Price Is Right (valued at over $6K)! Follow-up: the contestant won the trip and then did the worm.

According to Cleveland.com:

Among those who got Carey-ed away in a Drew-tastic costume was Sebastian G. Daskawicz-Davis, the Burbank, California, man who won the Cleveland vacation package.

Daskawicz-Davis will fly round-trip to Cleveland with Carey, staying six nights in a king suite at Metropolitan at the 9 hotel. Valued at $6,603, the Forest City getaway package includes daily breakfast and a guided food tour of Tremont and Little Italy.

Apparently, they want people to see both of their buildings. A guided tour of Cleveland's Little Italy? --Is that different from stopping at the Olive Garden?

A six night stay in Cleveland does not sound appealing at all, though I will concede as a metro Detroiter, I'm probably biased against Cleveland.

Looking at trip advisor, I see they have some parks and museums, a few restaurants, even a library -- and that's a big deal in Ohio.

Here's my favorite video about Cleveland, note there's a curse word or two.

Honestly, though, I would actually prefer a six-night stay in Flint.
