MADISON HEIGHTS (WWJ) - A fifty inch TV for $150 -- one of many sizzling deals attracting for those camping outside a Best Buy Wednesday in Madison Heights.

"It's a real steal," says Ruth VonRusten of Warren.

VonRusten and her son Ben arrived at 11:30 Tuesday morning and are staying for the deals at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Ben spent the night in the tent:

"It was nice, I didn't really sleep but I stayed up pretty much the whole time," said VonRusten. "Every time I was dozing off there would be a street sweeper that drove by or somebody woke me up or a horn honking. Something."

Ruth VonRusten says her family doesn't care about Thanksgiving dinner... and they have a fun time.

"Last year one of my daughters was out here with us - we just had a really good time ... we meet a lot of people and we hung out together for a few days and it was all good."

It's a VonRusten tradition now -- this year marks their fifth year camping for deals.

"We're Americans and we eat too much anyway - we eat all the time, it's okay we can eat tomorrow."
