Belle Isle Facilities Undergoing Indoor Restorations

DNR crews and partners have been working hard over the winter to refresh Belle Isle facilities.

This includes the White House which is in the process of being painted and plastered so that it can become an administrative office.

Many of the restrooms throughout the Isle needed plumbing repairs which include repairing leaking pipes, fixing broken water lines and replacing broken fixtures.

The crews have also been adding heating units, painting walls and adding new lights to many facilities throughout the park so they can be operational year round.
