1-Year-Old Boy Among 4 Injured In Dice Game Drive-By Shooting On Detroit's West Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say a baby and three others were injured in a drive-by shooting while playing a dice game outside of a home on the city's west side.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 9200 block of Memorial, in a neighborhood just east of the Southfield Freeway and West Chicago.

The group -- a 25-year-old man, 24-year-old man, 18-year-old woman and 1-year-old boy -- was on the porch of a vacant home when a car drove by and someone inside opened fire.

All four were injured in the gunfire; the baby and the 25-year-old were grazed by bullets, while the woman and 24-year-old man received multiple shots.

The victims drove themselves to two separate hospitals. All were last reported in stable condition.

Investigators have not yet discovered a motive for the shooting.

Police are now looking for two suspects, although physical descriptions were not immediately released.
