WorldView-4 Satellite Set For Launch

DENVER (CBS4) - A satellite created by Colorado companies that was scheduled to launch on Friday has been rescheduled for launch at a later date.

The WorldView-4 satellite suffered a minor leak so the launch on Friday was scrubbed.

The satellite is essentially a big camera that will take high resolution photos from space for things like Google maps.

Three companies in Colorado played a major role in the WorldView-4 mission; Lockheed Martin built the satellite, United Launch Alliance built the rocket, and Westminster's DigitalGlobe will operate the equipment once it's in space.
