Udall, Gardner Meet For 2nd Debate

DENVER (AP) - Democratic Sen. Mark Udall and his Republican challenger are meeting for a second debate Monday in Denver. This one focuses on the economy and will be moderated by a reporter for Politico.

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is putting on the debate. Republican Rep. Cory Gardner has criticized Udall's support for the 2009 economic stimulus plan and for supporting the health care overhaul. Udall is likely to tout low unemployment and the nation's economic recovery.

Gardner and Udall haven't debated since early September, though they've both attended candidate roundtables.

The Denver event also includes another debate between Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper and Republican Bob Beauprez.
