When they arrived officers and paramedics from the North Metro Fire Department found the 2-year-old boy outside Building 9 and rushed him to Children's Hospital. He was initially unconscious but regained consciousness.

Police said the boy was conscious, alert and talking at the hospital, he also was asking for his parents.

The preliminary investigation suggests the boy may have sneaked out onto the balcony where he climbed onto the railing and fell onto the concrete patio approximately 20 feet below.
