Southeast Light Rail Line Approved For Expansion
DENVER (CBS4) - Plans to extend the southeast light rail line are moving forward.
The Regional Transportation District board approved the contract for construction Tuesday evening.
The plan is to extend the line, putting new stops at the Lone Tree City Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center, and an end of the line stop at Ridgegate Parkway.
Construction is expected to begin in 2016. The plan is to complete the expansion by 2019.
