Officers found a deceased white man in the parking lot of a Super 8 Motel.

Police said a vehicle was seen leaving the area but so far there's no description of that vehicle.

"It would be great to have surveillance video of this, it doesn't happen too often we're usually not that fortunate but it might help to fill in some of the blanks we're missing at this point," said Adams County Sheriff's Sgt. James Morgan.

Witnesses told CBS4 they heard six shot rapidly going off and could see shell casings on the ground when they were walking out of their rooms.

"It was just like 'Pop, pop, pop, pop.' My girlfriend came in the room, she just said keep all the kids in the room. I didn't comprehend what she was saying because it was like four in the morning. Then I got up at six and saw the yellow tape, but she said it was just like one shot after another like 'Pop pop pop,'" said witness Aja Boger.
