Fire investigators determined the cause of North Creek wildfire
The Pueblo Fire Department says an evacuation notice was lifted Saturday evening after a wildfire was reported in Beulah initially and was renamed North Creek fire.
Around 1:29 p.m., the department tweeted it was in Beulah on a mutual aid request for support of a wildfire. The fire was approximately 43 acres and 0% contained, according to the department.

Pueblo Fire originally issued an evacuation notice for Red Mountain Youth Camp, west of the county line. 20 homes were also in the evacuation zone as residents were advised to report to the evacuation center at Roncoli Middle School.
Fire investigators advised the community that residents are now on pre-evacuation status as the fire is now 50% contained.

Containment of the #NorthCreek fire is now 10%.
Mandatory evacuation order has been lifted. Residents are now on pre-evacuation status. Residents will be allowed back to their homes and they must show an ID at the traffic-control points to be allowed in.

Authorities determined the fire was human-caused, specifically by a campfire being utilized by a hunter.
The fire remains at 43 acres Sunday afternoon as crews will continue to build and strengthen fireline around the fire.
Fire investigators say the wildfire was located at 3621 North Creek in Beulah.
