Power Outage Impacts 3,500+ Customers

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4)- Thousands of people living in Centennial, Highlands Ranch and Littleton were without power on Friday afternoon.

The power outage began at 1:14 p.m. Friday and impacted about 3,552 customers including Arapahoe High School.

The boundaries of the outage are Broadway to Clayton, County Line Road to Costilla. The nature of the issue was not released by Xcel Energy.

Crews are working on the issue. Power is expected to be restored by 5 p.m.
