Missing Fort Collins Teen Found Safe

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) -- A 13-year-old Fort Collins boy who did not return home Saturday night was found safe late Sunday afternoon.

Local police had asked for the public's help in locating him.

The teen left home Saturday evening wearing dark jeans, a dark hoodie, and his glasses. Ben was walking to a friend's house in the Registry Ridge subdivision of southwest Fort Collins.

He was reported missing Saturday night by his family.

At 4:25 p.m. Sunday, Fort Collins Police Services posted a Twitter message that read, "GOOD NEWS: Ben has been located & is safe! Thank you to everyone in our amazing community & beyond who shared & helped look for him."
