SWAT Situation Ends Peacefully With Baby Rescued
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police set up a perimeter around a home near Montview Boulevard and Chester Street on Tuesday night. After more than three hours, police took the suspect into custody.
They say the baby is safe.
Multiple agencies responded. Police tell CBS4 the man inside the home has multiple warrants from around the metro area. They say he was known to be armed and dangerous.
The suspect's girlfriend was reportedly talking to to him in an effort to get him out.
Police closed Montview Blvd. to 17th Avenue and Beeler Street to Chester St.
The Greenwood Police Department, Arapahoe County & Adams County Sheriff's Offices were assisting.
