Meth Ring Busted In Colorado

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – A major methamphetamine ring has been busted in southern Colorado.

Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration seized more than 60 pounds of meth, nearly 190 grams of heroin, $100,000 in cash, 16 vehicles and 13 firearms. Some of it was being smuggled in corn starch containers.

Authorities arrested seven people.

The ring was moving meth back and forth from Mexico to California and Colorado.

The investigation started last year.

The bust included police agencies in Pueblo, San Francisco, Albuquerque and Denver.
