Warming Trend Moves In This Weekend

By Chris Spears

DENVER (CBS4) - What an absolutely fantastic day statewide!

Most places are running 6 to 12 degrees cooler than in recent days with light wind and plenty of sunshine.

There will be a few showers and storms scattered about between the mid-afternoon and early evening but they should be few and far between.

Southern Colorado has the best chance to see a few storms and there's a remote chance one could become strong to severe near the New Mexico state line.

Your weekend will feature a gradual warm up with highs back into the lower 90s by early next week!
