Temperatures to Stay Below Normal as Showers and Storms Continue

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - A steady stream of moisture from the Pacific Ocean will continue to flow into Colorado through the weekend. While just a few sprinkles rolled through Denver, some areas of the high country and areas east did get some heavy rain. The official high in Denver came in right at 80 degrees Wednesday, a bit warmer than yesterday, but still 9 degrees below what would be normal for this time of year.

For Thursday, it's back in the upper 70s with scattered showers and thunderstorms...and little change for Friday, except we creep into the lower 80s. Possibly a bit more sunshine for the weekend, but expect scattered showers and storms each afternoon as highs continue in the low 80s for both Saturday and Sunday.
