A Seasonal Thursday Will Give Way to a Warm-up Through the Weekend

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - That Freeze Warning paid off: the official low at the airport was just 25 degrees (only 4 degrees off the record low for the date of 21 from 1995); the low downtown was 31. Thursday then saw plenty of sunshine as the high rose to 63 and that is just about normal for this time of year. Now the high temperatures will begin to push well above normal and stay there for the next several days. Sunny with a high in the low 70s to end the week; plenty of sunshine for the weekend with a high in the upper 70s Saturday and mid 70s for Sunday.

We'll begin next week with partly cloudy skies and a high in the low 70s for Monday...then Tuesday's high will be around 70 with a few more clouds and a possible isolated shower. Sunny dry and mild for Wednesday - high in the low 70s.
