Drier And Warmer Days On The Way

By Lauren Whitney
DENVER (CBS4) -

What a chilly morning in Colorado! We dropped to 34 degrees in Denver officially at the airport, and 36 downtown. In northwest Colorado, much colder temperatures to start the day. Craig dropped to 21, with Meeker hitting 19!

Temperatures warmed up a bit more Tuesday afternoon, with highs reaching the the low 60s today. We also saw the return of sunshine! It felt much nicer outside, and we'll be seeing more sunshine through the rest of the week.

That doesn't mean we're done with rain, we could see a few showers in Denver on Wednesday afternoon. Most of the rain will stay on the plains and in the high country.

More rain possible on Thursday before skies clear for the weekend. We'll see temperatures in the 60s and 70s over the next several days. Saturday will be our warmest day, we'll be close to 80!
