Isolated Storms Possible On Friday

By Lauren Whitney

DENVER (CBS4) - Temperatures went up after a cool down on Wednesday, we hit 87 degrees in Denver. We also had a bit more sunshine around town. The storms mainly stayed to the south, with heavy rain and a lot of lightning in southern Colorado.

On Friday, some storms could potentially turn severe in the southeastern mountains and southeastern Colorado. Hail, heavy rain, and wind will be the biggest threats from these storms. There is a very slight chance a storm makes it's way into Denver.

This weekend overall looks very warm and dry. There is a slight chance for an isolated storm in Denver on Saturday. Temperatures are back into the 90s and skies are sunny. The mountains could still see a few storms through the weekend.
